Deborah on the Subject of Angels and Visionaries
There Is Only Joy To Be, Beauty To Make, Love To Share......I have always known that angels are everywhere. From a very young age my mother told me that everyone had their own guardian angel and that I was always taken care of and watched over by my very own angelic friends. I believed her. Inside of me I knew this was true--and my life has always demonstrated that this is so.
Through each stepping stone of my life thus far, angels have been there. When there has been joy and celebration, they have been right there with me. When I have been in the throes of the difficult transitions, they have been there too. At times I have lost sight of them in the midst of my own struggles and felt the pain of my own separation. Sometimes I have denied myself turning to them for help and guidance--and through this denial I have learned mightily.
I have come to understand that saying "Yes" to the angels is just like saying "Yes" to my own Higher Self. Sometimes I perceive them as aspects of me and at other times they are separate bodies of energy altogether different from my own. I know that, either way, they are here to support me in supporting myself. Either way they are of tremendous comfort and inspiration. They help me to know that I am much more than I have thought myself to be. Through them I understand more of my strength and my lightness in this school of Earth.
To be an artist engaged with the Angelic Realms is a gift greater than words can describe. It is a privilege, an honor and a blessing to be a medium for these exquisite vibrations of Love and Light. It is my absolute joy to be involved with all the energy available to me from these higher realms while working on angel and other spiritual guardian pieces. They infuse me and my whole life with a sense of joy and thanksgiving beyond what I have ever known. They teach me endlessly about myself, life, other dimensions and the Universe. They teach me about God.
It is the angels' pleasure to be brought through into the physical world through creative mediums. It is their intense desire to touch as many people as possible on a conscious level. The power of the eye to receive the energy from the artwork makes a deep impression within the psyche of individual viewers. It can open them in an instant and shift their perception, thus affording the angels another avenue through which to touch peoples' hearts. It is a way to make a deep soul connection through the energy of love and beauty.
I believe that every culture deliberately creates its own visionary artists. These individuals are often considered to be wise men/women, seers, way-showers. They depict the spiritual history and evolution of that culture. They are not interested in the physical details and sentimentality of the human drama; rather, they are born to tell the spiritual story that lies hidden within the outer earthly shell.
These individuals are governed by the Light and are constantly driven to express and portray that which the culture has either forgotten or does not yet know. These artists are always considered "ahead of their time" for that is precisely their purpose--to bring to that culture the memory of its future. Their purpose is to restore hope, seed Light and deeply awaken the heart to its shining truth of love.
Through these visionary artists and creative people, the culture gifts itself and ensures that it will never lose sight of its Soul.
I believe the angels represent a piece of our culture's spiritual magic which we are now ready to reclaim. To openly embrace the knowledge and presence of angels in our lives is a statement about our own embrace of our Light within. It is the letting go of the struggling victimization which has so paralyzed our spirits and heralds, instead, the profound realization of our true strength and joyous freedom.
Being a visionary artist for this Divine Flow is a gift for which I am eternally grateful.
